Open Arms Christian Fellowship will hold its annual free Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday, November 21 from 3 PM to 7 PM, and WLCN will be on hand with a live remote for the first half of the event.

Don’t miss all the action when WLCN brings you Lincoln Railer football action as LChS squares off against Mattoon at home Friday 9/24 at 7 PM. You can listen to all the action on 96.3 FM or via the Mixlr app on a mobile device. If you’d like to watch, check out WLCN’s YouTube livestream to see the action and hear the announcing of Bob Verderber and Ken Schweitzer. The pre-game will begin around 6:40 PM; to watch, go to the WLCNOnline.com home page and click the Watch live badge on the right side of the screen.
Then on Saturday, tune in to the Cheap Seats Saturday Morning Sports Show live from Four Corners Lube as the crew welcomes the seniors from the LCHS football team. The show starts at 9 AM, and you can access the broadcast in the same way as the Railer football game: at 96.3 FM, via the Mixlr app or on WLCN’s YouTube channel via livestream.
Chittick Eye Care will hold a royal celebration on October 1 from 3 PM to 5 PM to celebrate eye doctor Todd Nobbe, O.D., who was chosen as Best Optometrist in the Lincoln Courier Readers Choice poll. Chittick Eye Care is making Dr. Nobbe “King for a Day” with an open house event including free food from Peggy’s Place as well as prizes to be awarded from the king’s treasure chest. WLCN will broadcast from the festivities with a live remote from 3 PM to 5 PM. The royal celebration takes place at Chittick Eye Care, 327 N. Kickapoo Street in Lincoln. The former Nobbe Eye Care center became part of the Chittick Family Eye Care system in July.
Join Cheap Seats this Saturday with hosts Scott Kirby, Jake Johnston and Joe Ryan live from Jake’s Furnishings, 1100 Woodlawn Road in Lincoln. LCHS Railer head football coach Matt Silkowski is scheduled to join the crew to discuss the outcome of Lincoln’s Friday night game at home against Charleston.
Join Cheap Seats this Saturday with hosts Scott Kirby, Jake Johnston and Joe Ryan live from downtown Lincoln at the heart of activity for the Balloons Over 66 weekend. In addition to folks working with various areas of the Balloons Over 66 weekend, LCHS Railer head football coach Matt Silkowski is scheduled to join the crew to discuss the outcome of Lincoln’s season-opening game Friday night at home against Clinton.
WLCN will again bring its audience coverage of Lincoln Community High School Railer football as Lincoln opens its season August 27 at home against the Clinton Maroons.
