The Hunt for Foundation host the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Festival of Lincoln, Illinois. Juneteenth is also known as “Black Independence Day” or “Freedom Day” and is now recognized as a federal holiday. Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the emancipation of slavery.
