All 4-11 year olds are invited to an Easter party with pizza, games, crafts and music for a night of fun. Parents are invited to DeMarchi's Espresso (811 Woodlawn Road) for a free drink after dropping kids off. For planning purposes, please send a message to contact@cometofaith.com so staff can plan accordingly.
Paint your own butterfly painting. Participants will be led step by step throughout the event and butterfly templates will be provided. Kyle Fields has worked afternoons on The Mix 99.7 FM radio in Springfield and has been entertaining audiences across the country with his quick wit and unique perspective on stage, on the air and even in pro wrestling rings as "Classy Kyle Kincaid." He also hosts the long running game show "Dash For Dollars."
According to their web site, "The Ex-Bombers are a sinister psychedelic blues duo who play suspiciously resonant songs harnessing the thunder of electric 8-string bass and drums, a pair of wrecking ball voices, and a delightful kaleidoscope perspective of a world on fire."
Proceeds from this event help pay for programs and services the Oasis offers to seniors. Click here to purchase tickets in advance. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Oasis between 9 AM and 3 PM Monday through Friday.
The library again is partnering with Dove Inc. and R.S.V.P. to offer the AARP Foundation Tax Aide program. The program offers free tax preparation to anyone of any age, especially those 50 or older or who can’t afford paid tax preparation. >Open Arms hosts its annual FREE Easter Egg Hunt at 10am at Scully Park! There will be special egg hunts for kids ages 2-PreK, K-2nd, and 3rd-5th with 10,000+ eggs, candy, cash, bike giveaways and more. All are welcome.
The Easter egg hunt is open to children through 5th grade.
Participants will create tiny campfire scene with wooden benches, s’mores and an illuminated fire, a great addition to fairy doors and gardens, doll houses and action figure sets. The event takes place at Frazier Park in Mt. Pulaski. There will be prizes for each age group (toddler, pre-K, K-1st and 2nd-3rd), including bicycles and scooters.
The Elkhart Historical Society will hold wildflower nature walks each Saturday in April at 10 AM and 2 PM, weather permitting. Walks will take place by reservation only. The final date, April 30, is a combination wildflower and bird event celebrating the returning birds as they migrate thru the flowering woodlands on Elkhart Hill. Private […]
All exhibitions are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Fridays from 5 PM to 8 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 1 PM. Opening receptions are held the second Thursday of the month prior to the Friday opening of the exhibition.
In addition to ribeye and pork chop sandwiches, the studio will have a bake sale. Proceeds benefit Audra's Studio of Dance.
The event is free but donations will be accepted. Children attending will receive an Easter treat.

T-shirts, signs and other campaign memorabilia will be available, and a pulled pork lunch will be available for purchase to support Bailey's campaign for governor. Bailey is scheduled to speak at noon.
