Swing dance lesson fundraiser event featuring live music from Chicago swing band Rosie & The Rivets at Lincoln Park District

The event begins with an hour-long swing dance lesson at 6 PM. The dance follows from 7 PM to 10 PM featuring music from Rosie & the Rivets, Chicago’s premiere retro rock and roll tribute show performing the best music of the 1950s and early 1960s along with some contemporary music with a retro twist.
Advance tickets cost $15 for singles and $20 for couples; tickets can be purchased from the Lincoln Park District as well as from Young Dance Company.
Subject to availability, tickets will be available at the door and cost $15 for singles and $25 for couples.
The dance lesson will be taught by Young Dance, Inc. and will cover basic swing footwork and moves.
Doors open at 5:30 PM.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Lincoln Park District.
