Speaker presentation series about Prairie Flyers: A Century of Aviation in DeWitt County at Vespasian Warner Public Library in Clinton

The Vespasian Warner Public Library is partnering with the DeWitt County Museum to offer a series of speaker events related to the Prairie Flyers: A Century of Aviation in DeWitt County exhibit. Events are scheduled every Thursday in June from 6 PM to 7 PM at the library. The Thursday events are free and open to the public. Advance registration is required; call (217) 935-5174.
Topics of the presentations in the series presented at the library are:
- June 2 – Meet the Vietnam War Veterans
- June 9 – Meet the Authors: David Henard and Denis Hambucken
- June 16 – Meet Ken Shaffer: A Pilot with 25,000 Hours of Flight Time
- June 23 – Meet Illinois Air National Guard Chief Master Sergeant Jennifer Aurora
- June 30 – The History of Hooterville Airport and Red Irwin
