San Jose Quarter Auction benefiting charities of the buyers’ choice at San Jose United Methodist Church

Several local vendors will be on hand for attendees to win their products in this quarter auction. This month’s event will be an “audience choice” auction. In this event, everyone that purchases a paddle will be able to write down a non-profit or local organization to which they would like the money raised to go to. A winner will be drawn at the end of the auction so everyone knows where the money goes.

Local organizations and non-profits might consider getting a table of family and friends together so their organization is entered more times in the drawing; the more ticket entries an organization has, the better odds it will be drawn and receive the proceeds from the event.

All proceeds from the paddle sales, donation item quarters and vendor fees go to a different charity/cause each month.

Doors open at noon to buy paddles, grab lunch and chat with vendors; auction begins at 1 PM. Food will be available for purchase for lunch; food purchases will benefit Team Matthew.

This event is hosted by the women of the San Jose United Methodist Church.
