Logan County Route 66 Days Cars & Coffee kick-off event on Arch Street in Atlanta

The first Logan County Route 66 Days featuring the cities of Atlanta, Mount Pulaski, Lincoln and Elkhart will take place from June 18 through July 4. Between those days, participants can pick up and complete challenge cards from any participating location–Atlanta Public Library and Museum, the Davis Dairy Bar in Mt. Pulaski, Spirited Republic in Lincoln or the Logan County Tourism Bureau in Lincoln. To complete a challenge card, participants must visit two attractions, eat at one restaurant and shop at one shop per participating town. At the restaurant and shop, the participant must have their challenge card either initialed or stamped.

Completed cards can be submitted at the businesses listed above. At the conclusion of the event, a drawing from the completed cards will take place for Logan County raffle baskets. Participants can earn additional entries by visiting all attractions, shopping at twoshops and eating at two restaurants per participating town.

The Route 66 Days event kicks off with Cars & Coffee on June 18 from 8 AM to 10 AM in Atlanta, the start of Logan County’s portion of Route 66. The kick-off event takes place on Arch Street between Race and Vine Streets. This event is free to attend and may be rescheduled in the
event of inclement weather. A cruise-in event is scheduled from 2 PM to 5 PM that day at the Mill Museum on Route 66 in Lincoln.

The purpose of Logan County Route 66 Days is to get visitors and locals visiting sites in the county, exploring the history and legacy of Route 66.
