Recently, almost every rural Illinois county has experienced outmigration of its youngest and brightest talent, and the trend appears to be continuing. This presentation will focus on proven strategies to attract and retain young adults in those rural areas. The presentation will be given by Pam Schallhorn, who serves as a regional Extension Specialist in Community and Economic Development with University of Illinois Extension Office.
Doors open at 5 PM, and participants will receive a boxed meal at that time. The presentation takes place from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
