Free painting event for children at Danvers Township Library in Danvers

Retired art teacher and local artist Lorrie Pflaumer of Rice Creek Studios is offering this free Let’s Paint! class for children from 6 to 13 years of age. Participants will learn about controlling paint, mixing colors, and how to use and care for paint brushes. Those attending should come into the class with an idea or photo that they would like to be the subject of their painting.

Participants should wear clothing suitable for painting.
