National Mustang Day cruise (all makes of cars welcome) down Route 66 sponsored by Railsplitter Antique Auto Club departing from former Kroger building parking lot
April 17 @ 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM CDT
In honor of the introduction of the Ford Mustang on April 17, 1964, the public is invited to join members of the Railsplitter Antique Auto Club for a cruise. In honor of the centennial of Route 66, a part of the route will follow Route 66 (no interstate highways; state highways only).
Participants can begin meeting at 4:30 PM at the parking lot of the former Kroger grocery store (1479 Woodlawn Road in Lincoln) for distribution of maps. The cruise will depart at 5 PM. Anyone who wishes to join participants at Cracker Barrel afterward is welcome to do so.
The event is not limited to only Ford Mustangs; any make and model of car can be driven.
