Live comedy by Nick Goett and Leslie Mitchell at Mason City Limits Comedy Club

The last two winners of The Jukebox Comedy Competition co-headline this R-rated show.
Goett is the 2021 Winner of The Jukebox Comedy Competition in Peoria, beating out 45 other competitors. “The Peoria scene is full of awesome talent, so just being around good comics makes you better,” he said. Goett said the best advice he received came from Peoria-area comic Trey Mowder: “He told me to ‘double down on you, because there is no other you out there.’ It resonated with me.”
Leslie Mitchell, winner of the 2022 Jukebox Comedy Competition is a designer, writer, improvisational actor and comedian. She has performed all over the US, as well as Toronto and the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She continues to perform comedy as a lone entity in the art form of stand up, as an online personality through her “Leslie On The Move” and “Eric’s Wife is Awesome” social media posts, and with her brilliant 3-person long form improv comedy troupe, Wisenheimer.
