Jeep run fundraiser from Athens to Mason City to benefit the family of Nicole Blevins

Funds raised from this event will go to the family of Nicole Blevins to help with medical-related expenses. Nicole recently lost her battle with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Triple Negative Breast Cancer with lymph node involvement, a very aggressive and invasive type of breast cancer. She was unable to work for a long period of time due to the metastatic cancer and the aggressive treatments which left her extremely ill.

All vehicles are welcome to participate, including jeeps, motorcycles and other types.

There is a $20 entry fee per vehicle Sign up begins at noon at the Athens Corner Pub, located at 100 N. Main Street in Athens [(217) 691-1997]. Participants will depart at 1 PM and go to the following locations on the run:

• The Thirsty Barrel, 118 S. Tonica Street in Mason City [(217) 360-0062]

There will be numerous activities and additional fundraising activities at stops on the run, including a 50/50 drawing, a deck of cards game and raffles for gift cards and other items.
