Health & Wellness Series presentation on Forest Therapy Experience at Lincoln Park District

Forest Therapy Experience has been shown to lower blood pressure, reduce anxiety and depression and help people slow down from their hectic lives. Presenter Cassandra will explain Forest Therapy Experience and how the guide does not serve as a therapist–the forest is considered the therapist–but instead opens possible connections by offering suggestions (which are called invitations) to help the participant develop a more sensory and embodied relationship with the surrounding nature.
