Greg Batton headline comedy performance featuring Al Nimpson in Mason City

Greg Batton is heard every weekday morning as one half of The Greg & Dan Show on 1470 AM WMBD in Peoria.
Greg is the youngest of four kids in a typical middle class, Central Illinois family. His dad owned his own business, Illini Welding Supplies. Graduating from Pekin Community High School in 1977, Greg started getting the itch for radio in high school but didn’t pursue it until he was 28 years old, married with two kids. Greg has worked for a lot of stations in Peoria, including WMBD, WXCL, WWCT, WTAZ and WJPL. This is his third tour of duty for WMBD, in fact. In 2002, he moved to Chicago to work at WLS with his wife and radio partner, Yvonne Greer.
Greg’s talent and spontaneity behind the mic has made for an easy transition to stand up comedy, another passion he waited to tackle as he started just a few years ago. Greg’s easy going style coupled with his stories of travel and family make for a great night of laughs.
