DIY soap making community education class at Heartland Community College-Lincoln

Craft a useful household item like a true artisan in this hands-on workshop. Attendees will learn about soap-making processes while building a custom mold out of cardboard and parchment paper. Participants will then mix together oils and lye before adding unique fragrances and colors and leave the class with the equivalent of 3-4 made-from-scratch bars of soap. A $15 supply fee is also paid to the instructor.
