Creekside Outdoor Center A Walk on the Wild Side fall festival

FreeLincoln College’s Campbell Creekside Outdoor Center for Environmental Education will hold a free fall festival with nature activities for all ages Saturday, October 23 from 10 AM to 3 PM at the center, located at 1234 2000th Street, Lincoln.
The event will feature a variety of activities, including guided tours, railsplitting/pioneer life demonstrations, GPS nature caching, gourd/pumpkin paint, along with various nature crafts, games and demonstrations and local food, art and craft vendors. A boardwalk dedication in planned for 10:30 AM and a groundbreaking ceremony for a birdwatching station is scheduled for 11 AM.
The event is free and open to the public. There will be no rain date for the event.
