Carroll Catholic School Queen of Hearts fundraising drawing

Carroll Catholic School is holding a Queen of Hearts progressive raffle on most Fridays throughout the academic year.

The Queen of Hearts Raffle consists of a board with a standard poker deck and two jokers arranged randomly face down. The cards are numbered 1 to 54. When a player’s ticket is drawn, the card number written on the ticket is revealed. If it’s the queen of hearts, the player wins sixty percent of the jackpot, while the school retains forty percent. All other cards in the deck offer lower cash payouts. If the queen of hearts remains hidden, the game continues and the jackpot rolls over to the next drawing.

Tickets cost $1 each and there is no limit to the number of tickets that can be purchased.

Initially this year, will be held virtually and livestreamed via the school’s Facebook page; click here to visit the school’s Facebook page. Drawings will take place at the school on Fridays at 3:30 PM. Ticket sales will stop at 3:00 PM on Fridays. If the queen of hearts is not revealed, the jackpot builds for the next drawing. Jackpot amounts and a list of the revealed card numbers will be updated on the school’s Facebook page each week.

Tickets can be purchased throughout the week both in person and online. Tickets are available in the school office during normal hours of operation. Click here to purchase tickets online using a credit/debit card, Venmo, or Paypal; those purchasing online will be asked what playing card number they want to play. In addition, those purchasing online will be asked if they wish to cover the online transaction processing fees on behalf of the school.
