Balloons Over 66 balloon launches and balloon glow at sites around Lincoln

Three launches and a balloon glow are scheduled throughout the Balloons Over 66 weekend. In case of inclement or questionable weather, please use the links further down this page to find out the latest updates.

Three flights are scheduled for the weekend:

• Friday, August 26 at approximately 6 PM
• Saturday, August 27 at approximately 6:15 AM
• Saturday, August 27 at approximately 6 PM

A balloon glow is schedule for Saturday, August 27 at 8 PM.

Launches and the balloon glow will take place at four sites around Lincoln:

• Mayfair Park at the intersection of Southgate Street and Allison Drive
• The Dugan Center at 1500 N. McLean Street
• Lincoln Fitness Court at 315 8th Street
• The Bateman residence at 455 Campus View Drive

The Balloons Over 66 festival returns to Lincoln in 2022 with an art fair, backyard barbecue contest, vendor fair, the Dock Dogs, and much more…including, of course, hot air balloons!
