Annual grape stomp and harvest festival at Mackinaw Valley Winery

Attendees at this Labor Day Sunday event will get to enjoy some great wines, stomp some grapes and vote for their favorite Lucy lookalike. This annual event is for those who have the desire to emulate Lucy and get their “feet” wet in the wine. Those who participate should feel free to get plenty of pictures and selfies to preserve the moment and have proof of their “wine making” endeavors.

There will be wine flights all day and live music and DJ Vinny performing throughout the day.

There is no charge to enter the Lucy lookalike contest; the contest will be held at 3:30 PM with a $50 first prize for the best Lucy. Children and adults are welcome to participate.

There are prizes for kid stomp winners and gift certificates for adults stompers. Sign up to stomp takes place the day of the event. There will be two large stomping bins, and stomping can be alone or with a partner (partners should be people you are in close social contact with normally). The event will be held rain or shine.

Concessions will be available from Gramma Nana’s Ice Cream & Cookies as well as “Tony’s on Wheels” from Haddad’s Lebanese Restaurant.
