WLCN looks for sponsors to support postseason coverage of Lady Railer and Railer boys basketball

WLCN is preparing to cover the postseason runs of the Lincoln Community High School Lady Railers and Railer boys basketball teams. With the unbeaten Lady Railers currently ranked No. 2 in the state, and the boys notching another 20-win season, both teams are poised to make it deep into the Illinois High School Association postseason tournament.

The IHSA charges the media fees to broadcast and livestream postseason games, and WLCN is looking for sponsors to help make it possible to cover all the LCHS girls’ and boys’ tournament games.

Teams continue playing as long as they keep winning, so in the best-case scenario (both teams making it to the state finals), that would mean WLCN would cover around 14 postseason tournament games (the exact number depends on seedings for the tournament, which will be released later this month). WLCN is offering sponsors the chance to get the name of their organization in front of the passionate LCHS fanbase by supporting WLCN’s postseason tournament coverage. Sponsors can choose to sponsor a fixed number of games or the entire tournament run for either or both teams. Click the attached flyer image for particulars; if your business would like to help out or you’d like more information, please call WLCN at (217) 648-5510 or email advertising@wlcnonline.com.

A big THANK YOU goes out to our regular-season sponsors for allowing WLCN to provide coverage of the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams thus far this season. Super sponsors for WLCN’s 2022-23 LCHS basketball coverage include ME Realty and Culver’s of Lincoln. Other regular season sponsors include: Blades Hair & Nail Salon, Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois, Carpet House, Chase Lowery Edward Jones Financial, Chicago Street Rentals, Chris Coyne State Farm Insurance, Collision Concepts, Comfort Inn, Lincoln DARE, Eaton Corporation, Graue Inc., Hampton Inn, Headlines Salon, Heartland Community College-Lincoln, James Siddens, Joe Ryan Country Financial, Lincoln Heating and Cooling, Lincoln IGA, Lincoln Printers, Schneider Chiropractic, Schneider Masonry and Town & Country Bank.

And an equally big THANK YOU to all our radio listeners and livestream viewers for your support of WLCN’s coverage; please be sure to thank and support the businesses who have made it possible for WLCN to provide coverage of the teams thus far this season. Go Railers and go Lady Railers!

We would like to sponsor two games. We do not have a business to advertise, we are just huge fans of a Lincoln Lady Railer Basketball and appreciate so much the live streaming you provide. Also, thank you so much to the current sponsors!!!
