United Community Bank, located at 2201 Woodlawn Road in Lincoln, will host a Community Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 21 with numerous prize giveaways, snacks and beverages along with a two-hour remote broadcast by WLCN 96.3 FM.
The Community Appreciation Day event is runs from 8:30 AM to noon. Among the items to be given away is a grill package featuring a Weber grill and accessories. Also to be raffled are several items or gift cards donated by local entities, including:
- Wells Firearms
- Lincoln Sportscards and Gaming
- Steak and Shake
- Mad About Trees
- Arby’s
- autographed copies of Havoc, the book by local teen author E.G. Keith
WLCN’s remote broadcast will run from 9 AM to 11 AM. The Cheap Seats Saturday Morning Sports Show will broadcast from 9 AM to 10 AM; scheduled guests include LCHS Head Baseball Coach Augie Casson and the senior players from the Railer baseball team. The 10 AM to 11 AM timeslot will be a traditional remote broadcast hosted by Jim Ash from the Lincoln Country Morning Show, featuring music and interviews with representatives from United Community Bank about the community appreciation event along with other UCB-related topics.
