WLCN offers livestream video coverage of LCHS Grand March April 30 moved to LCHS

WLCN 96.3 FM will provide online-only, livestream video coverage of the 2022 Lincoln Community High School Grand March held prior to prom on April 30.

Due to the threat of inclement weather, the site of the 2022 LCHS Grand March has been moved to Roy S. Anderson Gymnasium at LCHS. The event will still take place April 30 starting at 5 PM.

“WLCN is proud to continue presenting coverage of the grand march,” said Jim Ash, general manager of WLCN. “We are happy the tradition of the LCHS Grand March continues, as it was initiated by Jeff Maxwell.”

Maxwell, known as “Jeff No. 2” to WLCN listeners, was marketing manager, morning show co-host and nighttime deejay at WLCN prior to his passing in February 2021. He organized and coordinated not only WLCN’s coverage of the event, but all aspects of the grand march the last several years it took place prior to 2021.

Kathie Williams, owner of Small Town Creations in Lincoln, returns to serve as grand march coordinator this year after organizing the 2021 event.

Coverage will be available online only and not via the FM radio station. The live videostream can be accessed at WLCNOnline.com by clicking the Watch live badge on the homepage. A recording of the event will be archived on the WLCN YouTube page and available for viewing in perpetuity following the event.

In addition, WLCN livestreams other events, such as the Logan County Fair Queen contest, the Logan County Boys basketball tournament, local IESA boys and girls basketball state tournament games, the Logan County Fair Demolition Derby and the weekly Cheap Seats Saturday Morning Sports Show.
