The Lincoln Arts Institute will hold an opening reception for its exhibition entitled Just Imagine. The show is a mixed media exhibition, including photographs, drawings, and paintings in acrylic, watercolor and oil. The exhibition runs through September 3 in the LAI main gallery.
The Lincoln Park District will hold a birthday-themed Family Fun Swim Day at the park district's aquatic center. Admission is $2 per person or a donation to the Moms Who Care organization, which helps students achieve success at Lincoln Community High School by meeting essential needs.

The Lohrenz Family with Pete Molt on drums will perform at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Limit Street in Lincoln starting at 7 PM. Food baskets will be served starting at 5 PM in advance of the concert; menu items include burgers, tenderloins, chicken strips, fries, cheese ball and onion rings.
This all-day fundraiser for the Logan County Genealogical and Historical Society takes place at the Country Aire Restaurant in Atlanta. Folks can enjoy the Country Aire's chicken dinner special or any menu item of choice and a portion of the proceeds will support the LCGHS.
