Bingo takes place on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and is open to the public; cost of bingo is $8 and up. Doors open at 5 PM for a meal, snack and beverages. Event codes: ccgc, ccsoc ccbin
The Illinois Dept of Veterans Affairs will hold a Welcome Home and Pinning Ceremony for Vietnam Veterans. Vietnam veterans, their families and the public is invited to attend this ceremony which will honor all Vietnam veterans in Logan County with a formal welcome home and pinning.
Attendees will learn about seasonal flora and how to master making floral centerpieces to complement a particular space. There are two storytime series being offered: Terrific Toddlers - (Wednesdays at 10 AM) - Sessions will include reading stories, jamming out to some cool tunes and and having an all-around great time. The library again is partnering with Dove Inc. and R.S.V.P. to offer the AARP Foundation Tax Aide program. The program offers free tax preparation to anyone of any age, especially those 50 or older or who can’t afford paid tax preparation.
