Free introductory informational event on healthcare careers for Grades 6-8 at Heartland Community College Lincoln

This event is designed for students in Grades 6 through 8 interested in learning more about the world of healthcare careers under the direction of a Heartland instructor. Participants will discover what a typical day is like in the healthcare field and participate in hands-on activities like CPR, how to check blood pressure, and learning how to spot important signs in patients’ health.
The event is free; advance registration is required. Those interested are encouraged to sign up early as there is limited seating available; registration opens June 23. Click here to register online.
