Headline comedy performance by Chris Fonseca featuring Je Becker with special guest Matt Blind Stein at Mason City Limits Comedy Club in Mason City

Born with cerebral palsy, Chris Fonseca was a touring comic by 1987 and soon began hitting late night television with appearances on The Arsenio Hall Show and The Late Show with David Letterman. Fonseca performed at the Montreal International Comedy Festival on ABC for both the American Comedy Awards and “Christopher Reeve: A Celebration of Hope.” Fonseca’s most recognizable credit came from a featured appearance on the hit series, “Baywatch” in which he handcuffed himself to Pamela Anderson to protest the lack of handicap accessibility to the beach.

He has performed at numerous benefits involving President Jimmy Carter, Stevie Wonder, Willie Nelson and many more. As a person with a disability, he has received recognition from many places, even performing at the Kennedy Center for President George Bush Sr. and George W. Bush for the 15th anniversary of The American with Disabilities Act. Fonseca was recently been elected to the Colorado Arts and Entertainment Hall of Fame.
