WLCN 96.3 FM will provide online-only, livestream video coverage of the 2026 Lincoln Community High School Grand March held prior to prom on May 2.
The event is scheduled to start at 4:30 PM in Roy S. Anderson Gymnasium on the campus of Lincoln Community High School, located at 1000 Railer Way in Lincoln.
“WLCN is proud to continue presenting coverage of the grand march, as it was initiated by Jeff Maxwell,” said Jim Ash, general manager of WLCN. “We are happy the tradition of the LCHS Grand March continues.”
Maxwell, known as “Jeff No. 2” to WLCN listeners, was marketing manager, morning show co-host and nighttime deejay at WLCN. He organized and coordinated not only WLCN’s coverage of the event, but all aspects of the grand march his last few years prior to his passing in February 2021.
WLCN’s coverage of the 2026 event will be available online only and not via the FM radio station. The live videostream can be accessed at WLCNOnline.com by clicking the Watch Live badge on the homepage. An recording of the event will be archived on the WLCN YouTube page and available for viewing right after the event. An edited version of the livestream footage will be put together and placed on the WLCN YouTube page, where it will be available in perpetuity following the event.
Longtime WLCN sports broadcaster Bob Verderber will serve as emcee for the event. Erin Varner and Jean Meinershagen are the 2026 LCHS Grand March Sponsors.
Since 2018, WLCN has provided livestream video coverage of a variety of events, including LCHS football and boys’ and girls’ basketball. In addition, WLCN livestreams other events, such as the Logan County Fair Queen contest, local IESA boys and girls basketball state tournament games, the Logan County Fair Demolition Derby and weekly WLCN programming including the Cheap Seats Saturday Morning Sports Show, Viewpoint with Dara Entwistle and The 4 PM 411 with Loyd Kirby.
