Longarm quilting beginner class by American Professional Quilting Systems (APQS) at Indigo Quilt Studio in Lincoln

The APQS Beginning Longarm Class is designed to give new longarm quilters the foundation of knowledge they need to start quilting with confidence and is the perfect jump-start for new owners of all brands of longarm quilting machines. Participants will learn about:
- Thread, needles, batting, and backing fabric
- Loading a quilt on the frame
- Machine operation and safety
- Balancing thread tension
- Basic quilting techniques
- Paper pantographs
- Machine care and maintenance
- Business tips
This class is FREE for those who have purchased a new or factory-certified pre-owned/demo APQS longarm quilting machine in the past year; if this applies to you, call (217) 732-4112 for assistance in registering. Cost for all others for the class is $200.
