Presentation by Native American Potawatomi Historian George Godfrey at Williamsville Public Library

George Godfrey is a Native American Potawatomi Historian who lives in Athens, Illinois. He shared his love and talent for fingerweaving at a summer event at the Williamsville Public Library and Museum. Participants did not have enough time to learn about George’s traditional attire or many of the artifacts he had brought with him, so he is returning and will share his culture through the items he has and wears.
