Rally by Logan Correctional Center employees and Local 2073 to bring awareness of safety issues with toxic substances in IDOC facilities at Logan Lanes Bowling Alley parking lot in Lincoln

This event is to help bring awareness to the issue of hazardous substance exposures that have been happening recenty at IDOC facilities. Dozens of staff and individuals in custody statewide have been exposed to dangerous drugs or other hazardous substances being sent through the mail. Local 2073 is advocating for digital mail for all individuals in custody to help stop illegal drugs and hazardous substances from being sent into the prisons and putting workers and individuals in custody at risk.
