2025 Logan County pumpkin smash & splash event at parks around Lincoln

Join the Logan County Parks Coalition for a fun way to recycle your pumpkins and help the environment. Pumpkins can be dropped off between November 1 and November 14 from noon to 1 PM at Kickapoo Creek Park, Madigan State Park, the David W. Schroder Memorial Community Garden or the Lincoln Park District. Then on November 15, pumpkins will be smashed from 9 AM to noon at the Schroder Memorial Garden, and they’ll be “splashed” from 11 AM to 1 PM at Kickapoo Creek Park.
