Elkhart Historical Society wildflower walks

The Elkhart Historical Society will hold wildflower nature walks each Saturday in April at 10 AM and 2 PM, weather permitting. Walks will take place by reservation only. The final date, April 30, is a combination wildflower and bird event celebrating the returning birds as they migrate thru the flowering woodlands on Elkhart Hill.

Private tours can be arranged for groups of 10 or more on Wednesday-Friday. An optional lunch at Horsefeather’s Wild Hare Café can be added to the reservation. The cost of the walk is $15 per adult and $10 for children ages 8-12; and lunch is $10 for adults and $5 for children. All reservations must be made by calling (217) 947-2238 and following the instructions. Those making reservations will receive a confirmation before payment; please include a self-addressed stamped envelope for tickets to be mailed.
