The Zion staff is hosting a Nelson’s Catering drive thru half chicken dinner for Tinley Rubenacker, who was diagnosed with Diamond-Blackfan Anemia, a rare blood disease in which Tinley’s bone marrow does not make enough red blood cells. This event will be held in the school gym and will celebrate the school year with special music from students and alumni along with honoring retiring teachers. Church members, school families and alumni are invited to attend.

Attendees can tour the school and classrooms, see student works and meet teachers

The group will hold a bake sale following that morning's church service. All proceeds will go toward Zion Youth Group projects and activities.

Meals include applewood smoked pulled pork or chicken salad on croissant, chili, cole slaw and chips. Walk-ins are welcome on the day of the event while supplies last.
