SUMMARY:2026 Talona Marten backpack distribution event at Lincoln VFW parking lot
DESCRIPTION:The Annual Community Backpack Drive Project in honor of Talona Marten celebrates her memory. To honor her love of children\, the family continues the tradition started in July 2017 by host another backpack Drive. Since its inception\, backpacks and monetary donations have provided more than 1\,400 backpacks filled with school supplies to children and families in need throughout the community. \nThe backpacks are distributed to children in need within the community and can be picked up by families in need on Saturday\, August 1 from 10 AM to noon or until all backpacks are picked up.
