DESCRIPTION:The annual Mt. Hope-Funks Grove Park District Independence Day Celebration takes place at the park district. Decorated golf carts and bikes should line up on the walking track for the 3:30 PM parade. Dinner and activities start at 4 PM. Dinner and concessions are cash only; with face painting\, henna\, foam party\, sensory trailer\, inflatables\, water slides\, games\, and music activities are free. \nThe park district will sell a pulled pork meal for $9\, ribeye meal for $10 and a kid’s hot dog meal for $5 along with other concessions.
