Lord of the Rings ultimate fan marathon trilogy event at the Arlee Theater in Mason City

The Arlee presents the Ultimate Fan Marathon celebrating the Lord of the Rings on April 29. Sponsored by Leveldale Farms, the event will include a souvenir tankard with every ticket purchased in addition to a special surprise for groups of nine. There will also be prizes for the “Frodo & Sam Award”–the person who travels the furthest to attend the event as well as the person who helped get them there.
Doors open at 9:30 AM for the marathon; the first movie begins at 10 AM.
Individual showings of “The Fellowship of the Ring” and “Return of the King” will also be available on Friday April 28 and Sunday April 30, respectively.
