Free 2022 Tax Preparation Service at Vespasian Warner Public Library in Clinton

The library again is partnering with Dove Inc. and R.S.V.P. to offer the AARP Foundation Tax Aide program. The program offers free tax preparation to anyone of any age, especially those 50 or older or who can’t afford paid tax preparation. Appointments are required and can be scheduled by calling the library at (217) 935-5174.
Appointments are available on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings through April 13. Tax filing will be offered as a drop-off site which means participants will be asked to complete Form 13614-C in advance and wait in a designated area until e-filing is ready.
Current masking and social distancing protocols will be followed.
