Atlanta Fall Festival

Celebrate with the City of Atlanta as the community commemorates Atlanta – Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow with its annual fall festival. A variety of activities will be held starting Thursday 9/9 and concluding with an all-community worship service Sunday 9/12. Scheduled activities include:

Friday, September 10

• 5-7 pm – Pork chop dinner sponsored by Atlanta Fire Department
• 6-7 pm – Prince and princess contest
• 6-10 pm – Free bounce houses
• 6-10 pm – Ron Davis concessions and games
• 6-10 pm – Bingo
• 7-9 pm – Music by the Sundown Band
• 9 pm – Merchants’ drawing (must be present to win)

Saturday, September 11

• 8-10:30 am – Baking contests at Atlanta Community House
• Adults: cupcakes, pies and cakes
• Youth: cupcakes and breads, quick breads and cookies
• 10 am – Fire truck rides for kids
• 10 am-1:30 pm – Classic car cruise-in
• 10 am – Stop downtown to check out the American Eagle woodcarving
• 10:30 am – Closing of baked goods judging
• 1 pm – Judging of parade floats and entries
• 2 pm – Atlanta Fall Festival parade with the theme Atlanta – Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow
• 2-5 pm – Free bounce houses
• 2-5 pm – Ron Davis Concessions and games
• 3 pm – Awarding of parade prizes
• 3-5 pm – Bingo
• 3:15 pm – Community band
• 3:30-4:30 pm – Entries on display
• 4:30 pm-6 pm – Kiddie tractor pull
• 5-7 pm – Angus tri tip or pulled pork meal sponsored by Atlanta Methodist Church
• 6-8 pm – Karaoke
• 6-10 pm – Free bounce houses
• 6-10 pm – Ron Davis Concessions and games
• 6-10 pm – Bingo
• 8 pm – Auction of cupcakes, pies, cakes, quick breads and cookies
• After auction – Merchants’ drawing (must be present to win), 50-50 drawing and other drawings

Sunday, September 12

• 10 am – All-community worship service in Atlanta City Park (bring lawn chairs if desired)
