Applications accepted for GFWC Illinois woman’s club scholarships (deadline 4/1/25) by Lincoln Women’s Club

Students of Logan County high schools are encouraged to apply for scholarships facilitated by the Lincoln Women’s Club. The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) Illinois is offering scholarships in a variety of fields for students attending Illinois colleges or vocational schools for the fall of 2025.
Available $1500 scholarships include:
- Lorado Taft Art Scholarship
- Arthur Grant Smith Drama Scholarship
- Vina A. Miller Health and Wellness Scholarship
- Hamilton Ridge Music Scholarship
- Vocational Scholarship
Students applying for the above listed scholarships must plan on attending a college, university or vocational school located within the state of Illinois during the Fall of 2025. Applicants are not limited to current high school graduates. Potential students of all ages are welcome to apply. Past applicants and/or winners may reapply. Funds are mailed directly to the school/university.
The deadline for all applications is April 1, 2025. The Lincoln Women’s Club will award scholarships to students from Logan County; applications are available through the guidance departments of Hartsburg-Emden High School, Lincoln Community High School and Mt. Pulaski High School.
Applications are also available by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Becky Maxwell 419 Holly Drive, Lincoln, IL 62656. Those requesting applications by mail should specify which application(s) are being requested.
